Firecracker es una plataforma on-line que ayuda y apoya a mujeres fotógrafas residentes en Europa. Esta plataforma exhibe cada mes un proyecto distinto, y ofrece a estas mujeres la posibilidad de optar a la beca que Firecracker ofrece para el desarrollo de un proyecto personal. Así mismo también es posible consultar trabajos de otras mujeres fotógrafas europeas, e información útil para el desarrollo de trabajos.

Despite many fantastic women working with photographic media, the industry continues to be dominated by male counterparts.
Firecracker is an online platform dedicated to supporting european women photographers. Firecracker assists the promotion of women photographers by showcasing their work in a series of monthly online gallery features.
In summer 2012 the Firecracker Photographic Grant will be announced and awarded in autumn to a woman photographer born or residing in Europe, to assist with a photographic project.

Personally, I don’t think there’s anything more important than angles. If you capture something at the perfect angle, add some great editing, and along with good lighting and background, it’ll be an amazing picture. (:
i’m writing an essay on the effects of faux-documentary photography (i.e. the use of models like david levinthal, paolo ventura, slinkachu etc) and i need a good conclusion. what are the advantages of using models over real people?
