A. M. Rodchenko, URSS 1925

Alexander Rodchenko was a Russian photographer, sculptor and graphic designer. He was one of the founders of constructivism and Russian design.

I visited yesterday at the Hayward Gallery (Southbank Centre, London) to take a look his work.

I enjoyed it looking at his photomontages, which were very innovative for his era. He was pioneer of a new vocabulary of bold and unusual camera positions, different perspective, and close-up .
